Where creativity and functionality
Constructing a retail store such as OH!SOME is a task where the builder needs to create a space full of creativity and functionality. As a new brand identity, the concept design store of OH!SOME is pretty much the same as their previous brand identity, but there are some stores that are starting to use a new concept and OH!SOME at Plaza Medan Fair is one of them.
Started in June 2024, the 1114 square meters area consists of playful ceilings and pillars. The vibrantness of the store could be seen through the colorful interior, unique ceiling patterns and varied heights. Civil, interior, MEP as well as data works are Yoka team’s scope of work when doing the project and some of the main materials that were used are hollow steel, multiplex, gypsum, duco and latex paint.
The store decorations, like the star and rainbow shape at the shopfront, is a new thing for the team and was crafted by the team with accuracy and precision, the curved ceiling shapes are also a shape that required patience when making them to ensure a smooth and stunning visual. In early September 2024, the project was completed with a satisfying result.
