A harmony of elegance and charm
In early May 2024, Yoka Build got the chance to work with one of Sushi Tei’s restaurant group, Tom Sushi, for the first time. The scope of work that the team have worked on are civil, interior and furniture work for an area of 130.5 square meters. The concept of the restaurant’s design consists of a fusion between East Asian and Indonesian elements, creating a harmony of elegance and charm.
Some of the materials that were used for the construction are gypsum, sungkai wood, rattan, bronze mirror and pendant lamp. With Yoka Build’s expertise in construction, those materials were all crafted thoroughly by the team and gave a satisfying result of intricate floral patterned ceiling, wooden panels and bamboo motifs. The hanging lamps add the perfect touch, elevating the ambiance.
Since the project was located on Manado Town Square, delivering the materials from Jakarta to Manado was one of the biggest challenges for the team because it took some time to arrive at Manado, while they must complete the work on time at the same time. Nevertheless, thanks to Yoka Build’s reliability and speed in their work, the project was still managed to be completed on time in early July 2024.
