Fresh sushi dining experience
Tom Sushi opened a new branch of their sushi restaurant at Pakuwon Mall Bekasi in late November 2024. It has an area of 148 square meters that consists of kitchen, cashier as well as dining space. Civil, interior and furniture work are Yoka’s team scope of work.
The design concept of Tom Sushi is a mix of elegance and charm, with a touch of Japanese and Indonesian elements and the color of yellow and red as the main color. Cement, hollow steel, plywood and gypsum are the materials that were mostly used during the construction of the project that was started in September 2024.
Crafting the curved ceiling needed quite a long time in order to create the best result. The adjustment of the sofa floor height, which must match the width of the sushi conveyor belt, was also something that required special skills, but it was something that Yoka Build is ready to handle where the team executed it very well in the end. Tom Sushi has their own material standard, and Yoka Build was proud to achieve the standard until the project was finished, bringing a fresh sushi dining experience as a result.
