Camera concept retail design
Nowadays, we can easily find retail stores everytime we go out, but to find one with a unique interior design and concept is a different story. Cooperating with the overseas team from China, YOKA Build was ever so delighted to design and build KKV, a retail store company with a fresh and new concept that is very suitable for young people.
Located in Living World Alam Sutera, this project’s design concept is based on the elements of a camera. At first, the visitors will be greeted by a striking lens-shaped entrance, as they step further into the store, they will see a creative retail construction with vibrant colors and a touch of nostalgia due to the addition of the retro vibes.
The 1097.07 square meters project started operating in early September 2023. Aside from mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work, YOKA Build also managed the civil, interior, and data works. Most of the materials that were used are plate bending iron, multiplex, and glass reinforced concrete (GRC).
Just like YOKA Build’s other projects, this one has its own challenge as well. The measurements on the blueprint and on the field were different, and at the finishing stage, the team had to keep the area clean consistently because it would take a lot of work if there’s a mess, even if it was only for a bit. In December 2023, the project was finished, YOKA Build was proud to be able to build and design a retail store with a fun and exciting concept.
